Second Arrest In Connection To Deceased Male Found In Spring Valley

A second arrest has been made in connection to the deceased male who was found in an abandoned building on Centre Street in Spring Valley last week.

On Wednesday, February 19, a police officer was flagged down by a pedestrian, who alerted the officer to a deceased male found in a structure at 10 Centre Street. Later that day a homeless man, Christian Guzman-Loera, was arrested on a second-degree murder charge. 

The investigation led to a second arrest that took place on Friday, February 21, when a second suspect, Ector Ramirez, was arrested with one count of second-degree murder. He was arraigned the next day in the Spring Valley Justice Court and remanded to the Rockland County jail.
