Rockland Hatzoloh Conducts MCI Training Aboard Monsey Trail Bus
YS GOLD
Sunday morning, while many Rockland residents were still beginning their day, Hatzoloh of Rockland volunteers gathered at Belz Bais Malka school to train for multi casualty incidents (MCI), R”l, aboard a Monsey Trail bus parked outside.
This training was a continuation of a number of such drills conducted by Rockland Hatzoloh in the past, most recently at the end of July.
“Coach buses are very different than school buses. During this training, Hatzoloh volunteers were taught how to access patients and remove them, open the doors if the driver is incapacitated, how to shut the engine and the fuel lines, among other exercises.”
The goal of these trainings is for Hatzoloh volunteers to be prepared for any kind of accident they may encounter.
