Rockland County's "Photo Of The Month" Winner Announced

A few weeks ago County Executive Ed Day announced the launch of Rockland's "Photo Of The Month" contest, as reported by Rockland Daily.  Local residents were urged to submit their best photo of Rockland's natural beauty and charm for a chance to be featured on the county's website and social media for the following month. 

The winning image for December is a beautiful photo of the Seven Lakes surrounded by vibrant fall foliage, captured by local resident Pramod A.. 

The January contest is now open for submissions until December 10th. 

Submission Guidelines:

• Image Orientation: Only horizontal photos will be considered for the website banner.
• Usage Rights: By submitting, participants agree that their photo may be used by Rockland County without copyright limitations, credits, or watermarks.
• Format: Photos should be in high resolution to ensure quality display. Image must be 1920X670 pixels or larger; jpeg, png, bmp, tiff, tif, or svg file formats recommended.

Residents can submit their photos either on the County’s Facebook or Instagram pages, or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Photo of the Month Submission."
