Rockland County PBA Celebrates 60 Years of Service

Rockland County PBA Celebrates 60 Years of Service

By Y.M. Lowy

The Rockland County PBA marked its 60th anniversary with a commemorative event honoring law enforcement officers from across the county. The milestone gathering brought together police leaders, elected officials, and members of multiple departments to recognize six decades of service.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Spring Valley Deputy Chief of Police Jack Bosworth for his service and contributions to the Village of Spring Valley.

Police officers from the Village of Spring Valley, Town of Stony Point, Village of Airmont, Orangetown, and the Village of Suffern were present, along with supervisors, sheriffs, and mayors representing communities throughout Rockland County. The event reflected the close working relationships among departments.

As the Rockland County PBA marks 60 years, the anniversary served as a reminder of the ongoing role law enforcement plays in maintaining safety throughout the county.
