Rockland County Invites Public To Community Meetings On Riverway Trail Project

Rockland County is inviting residents to take part in two upcoming community meetings to learn more about the Rockland Riverway Trail coming project, receive updates, and share feedback as planning continues.

The meetings are intended to give community members an opportunity to hear the latest information about the project while providing input that could help shape its future development.

The first meeting will be held Wednesday, August 5, at the Haverstraw Center in the Village of Haverstraw, located at 50 W. Broad Street. A second meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 10, at the Patriot Hills Senior and Community Center, located at 19 Clubhouse Lane in the Town of Stony Point.

Registration for both meetings will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by presentations at 5:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to register in advance before attending.

County officials say community feedback will play an important role as the project moves forward, with the meetings providing an opportunity for residents to ask questions, hear updates, and share their thoughts on the project plans.
