Rockland County Fire & Emergency Services Breaks Ground on New Training Simulators
By Akivah W.
Construction crews are at work in Rockland County pouring the concrete pad for two major additions to firefighter training: a Flashover Simulator and a Backdraft Simulator.
These new simulators will significantly enhance the county’s ability to train firefighters in realistic, high-risk scenarios, better preparing them for the challenges faced in the field.
Officials from Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services say this is an exciting step forward in advancing training capabilities, with more updates to come as the project progresses.
