Rockland Community College Car Show Draws Strong Crowd, Raises Funds for Local Heroes

A strong crowd turned out at Rockland Community College for a car show that combined local energy with a charitable mission, drawing residents from across the county for an afternoon of community engagement.

The event was organized by Misha Daberkow, president of the Rockland Conservative Club, and featured a variety of vehicles that attracted both enthusiasts and families. Attendees moved through the displays, connecting with neighbors and local leaders.

Among those present were Senator Bill Weber; his Director of Constituent Services, Michael Rydelek; and the 97th Assembly District candidate Rob Bonomolo, all of whom spent time speaking with attendees and supporting the event.

Organizers said the focus extended beyond the vehicles on display. All proceeds from the event were directed to Rockland Homes for Heroes, a local nonprofit supporting veterans, first responders, and families in need.

The turnout underscored continued interest in community-based events that bring residents together while supporting local causes.
