Ramapo Police Investigate Fatal Crash In Montebello

On July 5th, at around 1pm, the Ramapo Police Department responded to a serious one-vehicle crash on Kings Gate Road in the Village of Montebello. Upon arrival, officers found that a 19-year-old male driver had been ejected from the vehicle. Ramapo officers immediately began CPR until Emergency Medical Services arrived and took over care. The Tallman Fire Department, Suffern Fire Department, W.P. Faist Ambulance Corps, and Rockland Paramedic Services all assisted at the scene.

Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital. Tragically, the 19-year-old driver later succumbed to his injuries. The passenger is currently in stable condition and being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

On Monday afternoon, the deceased operator of the vehicle was identified as Brady Orlando Roldan- Lluguilema, a 19-year-old male from Spring Valley, N.Y. The cause and contributing factors to the crash are still under investigation.
