Ramapo Police Conduct Security Training During Winter Break to Enhance School Safety

As winter break wraps up, the Tuxedo Police Department, in partnership with the Town of Ramapo, Village of Tuxedo Park, and Village of Suffern, took advantage of the unoccupied Tuxedo School District buildings to conduct comprehensive security training exercises.

This initiative aimed to strengthen preparedness and reinforce security protocols to ensure the highest level of safety for students and staff. The training involved dedicated members of the Tuxedo Police Department and School Resource Officers (SROs), who consistently work to safeguard the well-being of the school community.

By utilizing the school facilities during the break, officers were able to engage in realistic, hands-on training scenarios designed to enhance response times and improve coordination between different agencies.
