Photo Gallery: Ramapo Opens New Garage for William P. Faist Ambulance Corps

Last Friday a ribbon-cutting event was held at the brand new William P. Faist Ambulance garage, located at 5 S de Baun Avenue in Airmont. The event was attented by local officials, including Town Supervisor Michael Specht and Assemblyman Aron Wieder, who together performed the actual ribbon-cutting. 

The ambulance corp was temporarily housed on Route 59, near South Airmont Road, while the garage was being completed, and has now officially moved into their state-of-the-art facility, from where they will service Airmont, Suffern, and Montebello. 

The central location and modern facility will help the volunteer ambulance crew respond to local emergencies with more efficiency and better help the local community.
