Overnight Lane Reductions on Northbound Thruway Near Exit 15

Drivers traveling on the northbound Thruway (I-87) should expect lane reductions and possible delays tonight.

The New York State Thruway Authority announced that lanes will be reduced just before Exit 15 from 7 p.m. tonight until 8 a.m. tomorrow, to allow for a traffic shift.

Two lanes will be closed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., and crews will conduct two 15-minute traffic stops overnight while the work takes place.

Drivers are advised to plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use caution when driving through the work zone.
