Multi-Casualty Training Exercise Held at Friedwald Nursing Home
A structure fire multi-casualty incident (MCI) training exercise was conducted this evening at Friedwald Nursing Home, bringing together multiple emergency agencies for a large-scale drill.
EMTs and medics from Spring Hill EMS and Faist EMS treated numerous simulated patients at the scene before transporting them to the Spring Hill EMS station, which was set up as a hospital staging area. The Rockland County Sheriff’s Communication Mobile Command Center was also on site, providing critical communications and coordination support throughout the exercise.
Officials said the training helped strengthen inter-agency cooperation and ensured that local responders are prepared to handle real-life large-scale emergencies quickly and effectively.
