Multi-Agency Search Effort Concludes with Safe Recovery of Missing Individual

Yesterday, a search operation involving multiple agencies and community volunteers successfully located a 70-year-old African American man with dementia who was reported missing in the Spring Valley and Monsey areas. The collaborative effort, which spanned several hours, was a testament to the effectiveness of coordinated responses in emergency situations.

The search effort, which began early Monday morning, saw law enforcement agencies, including the Rockland County Sheriff's Office and Spring Valley Police Department, work in tandem with community organizations and volunteers to locate the missing individual. As the search continued into the late afternoon, Chaverim of Rockland joined the effort, deploying trained volunteers to assist in the search.

The missing individual was located in good condition on Saddle River Road near South Monsey Road, bringing a sense of relief to the community and the agencies involved in the search.
