Health Check Drive Underway in Monsey

Hatzolah of Rockland County, in collaboration with Refuah Health, conducted a free Health Check Drive across Monsey. Open to men and women of all ages, this initiative provided an easy way to monitor key health markers in minimal time.

Running from March 2 until March 11, the health checks were available at convenient locations, including local shuls and grocery stores, via the Refuah mobile units. Staffed by Hatzolah volunteers and Refuah medical professionals, the screening aimed to identify potential health concerns such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and pre-diabetes.

The Health Check included a vitals assessment of one’s pulse, breathing, and blood oxygen levels. It also provided a blood pressure measurement and a Hemoglobin A1C test: a quick finger-prick test to monitor blood sugar levels over recent weeks.
