Haverstraw Police Honored at North Rockland School District Ceremony

The North Rockland Central School District hosted a ceremony this week recognizing its working relationship with the Haverstraw Police Department and the Stony Point Police Department.

During the event, district officials also acknowledged Town of Haverstraw Supervisor Howard Phillips and the Town Board for their ongoing cooperation and involvement in school-related initiatives.

The ceremony highlighted the role of School Resource Officers, whose regular presence in local schools has helped strengthen communication between students, school staff, and law enforcement, while contributing to overall school safety.
