Hagaon Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetzky Rosh Yeshiva Philadelphia visits the Skver Rebbe
By Idy Perl
This week Hagaon Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetzky, the Rosh Yeshiva of Philadelphia, paid a visit to the Skvere Rebbe in New Square.
The Rabbi Kaminetzky and the Skevere Rebbe have shared a close relationship going back many years. They would often visit one another but haven't had the chance to see each other in quite a few years.
The Rosh Yeshivah was in Monsey this week for a simcha and used the opportunity to travel to New Square to sit with the Skvere Rebbe for a bit. They discussed the relationship that their grandfathers shared, and the Skvere Rebbe wished Rabbi Kaminetzky, who recently turned 100-years-old, many more healthy years to be able to continue his avodas hakodesh and share Torah with yidden worldwide.
