Flood Watch In Effect In Rockland County

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Rockland County and surrounding areas from 2pm today through 2am Wednesday morning. 

Although it's sunny now, this afternoon and evening is predicted to bring showers and thunderstorms that may produce torrential downpours and lead to flash flooding. The storms might bring strong winds with gusts over 58 mph, and rainfall of about 1-2 inches per hour.
