Fire Breaks Out at New Square Shul Right Before Inauguration

Multiple fire departments have responded to the newly built shul in New Square after smoke was seen coming from the building, reportedly due to a fire in the laundry room.

The entire Shul, with the many crews working on last-minute touch-ups, have been evacuated, and the electricity was cut in the Shul.

This incident comes just days before the planned inauguration of the massive shul, scheduled for this Motzei Shabbos, for the first Selichos, as previously reported by Rockland Daily.
