Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisenbach: Route 59 Bridge Reconstruction Enters Final Stretch

Construction on the Route 59 Bridge in Spring Valley continues to move steadily toward completion, with the project remaining on schedule to finish by the end of August.

According to the latest update, crews have made significant progress in recent weeks, and the next major milestone is set for Tuesday, August 11, when workers are expected to begin pouring the new sidewalks on the bridge.

Deputy Mayor Yisroel Eisenbach, who has been closely monitoring the project, said he continues to remain in contact with project officials regarding the construction timeline and upcoming phases of work.

In addition to the bridge improvements, crews are also repairing damaged concrete beneath the structure along Pascack Road, with that work progressing alongside the remaining construction activities.

If work continues on schedule, the long-awaited reconstruction project is expected to be completed by the end of August, restoring full access to the bridge following months of construction.
