BDE: Reb Avrohom Sigler, z"l

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Reb Avrohom Sigler, a longtime resident of New Square.

The niftar was born in the moshav of Komemiyus where his father was very active for the cause of Shemitah. 

He married in America and settled in New Square. He worked for many years as a melamed for young children in the Toldos Yaakov Yosef Skver Talmud Torah in Williamsburg. 

Hundreds, if not thousands, of talmidim remember his care, tenderness and nurture from the time they learned under him. 

The niftar is remembered for his old-time chein and his middos tovos. 

The Levaye took place last night at the Bhm"d in New Square.
