BDE: R' Mordechai Tzvi Perl, z"l, Toronto-Monsey

Rockland Daily regrets deeply to inform you of the passing of Reb Mordechai Tzvi Perl, a longtime resident of Toronto who spent years in Monsey as he struggled with a terrible illness. 

He was the son of Reb Shmuel Eliezer Perl, and was known as an extremely illustrious person and great eved Hashem with great ehrlichkeit and chassidishkeit.

Together with, tbl"ch, his wife, the daughter of Reb Ezriel Kaszirer, he established beautiful Torah generations, and continued to serve Hashem despite the terrible suffering that he endured. He lived in Toronto and in Monsey, traveling back and forth in search of a cure to his illness. 

Alas, he succumbed to his illness on Thursday night, and the levaya took place at the Satmar Shul in Monsey on Thursday night.
