BDE: Mrs. Zlata Hoffman a”h, Decades-Long Principal in Skver School

Levaye Update:

The Levaye of Mrs. Hoffman will take place 10am at the Skver School on Allik Way, the 10:30 at the Skver Shtibel on Roman in Monsey, and 11:30 at the Skver Rebbes house in New Square before Kevurah in the Beis Hachaim.

We regret to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Zlata Hoffman a”h, who was nifteres after a lengthy battle with cancer r”l.

For nearly forty years, she served with extraordinary dedication as principal of the Skver girls’ school, pouring her heart and soul into raising generations of bnos Yisroel and instilling in them yiras Shomayim, middos tovos, Torah, and avodah.

Mrs. Hoffman, the wife of Reb Mendel Hoffman, was sadly not zocheh to have children of her own. Yet the hundreds—if not thousands—of talmidos who passed through her hands will carry forward the Torah, the warmth, and the values she implanted in them as a living legacy.
