BDE Mrs. Tzivia (Cecille) Friedman A”H

Rockland Daily regrets to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Friedman, who was a resident of Crown Heights and later of Airmont. She was 82 and passed away surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

A dedicated member of the Crown Heights Women’s Chevra Kadisha for many years, she was well-known for her open home and always offered sound advice. Her warmth and genuine care for others earned her the affectionate nickname “Block Mother.” She is survived by her husband R’ Dovid, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren across the world.

The levaya will take place on Tuesday, passing 770 Eastern Parkway at 10:45 AM. The kevurah will be held at the old Montefiore Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
