Airmont Re-elects Trustees Shimon Moses and Isaac Weiss in Overwhelming Show of Support

Village of Airmont voters reelected two incumbent trustees
for another four-year term, in a show of support to the dedicated public
officials.
Despite all candidates running unopposed, Airmont residents
came out in strong numbers for today’s village elections, demonstrating unity
and appreciation for the current administration. A total of 519 votes were cast
in the election where the candidates ran unopposed, and 504 voters chose to
reelect Shimon Moses and Isaac Weiss as trustees, and Alan J. Straus as village
Justice.
The Spinka Rebbe participated in today's elections as well
and came out to vote and show his support.
Residents expressed gratitude for the incumbents, who have
significantly improved the village in recent years. Their accomplishments
include constructing numerous new sidewalks, repaving more roads than any
previous administration, improving accessibility, and streamlining essential
services.
