A Touching Moment: The Viznitz Rebbe’s Devotion in Times of Grief

A deeply moving photograph taken during the final days of the Rebbetzin a”h captures the Viznitz Rebbe sitting at her bedside in the hospital, his Gemara open before him. 

At a moment when others might find it impossible to focus, the Rebbe drew his strength from learning with the special Mamer Mordche.

This unwavering dedication was seen as soon as Nitel Nacht was over and the Rebbe returned to his Gemara like a parched man drinking water. 

A close confidant of the Rebbe told Rockland Daily that during these difficult times, the Rebbe expressed concern about not being able to learn the new Mamer Mordche Seder on Shas, as reported by Rockland Daily. Therefore, as soon as Nitul ended, the Rebbe dedicated himself to completing all seven days of Limudim to ensure he was prepared and ahead of the Seder.
